CPR and effective bleeding control can save lives. 

High quality CPR can double, or even triple, a victim’s chance of surviving an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, and early bleeding intervention prevents life-threatening blood loss. However, most people feel helpless in the face of a medical emergency. As part of our mission to keep the Harvard community safe, CrimsonEMS offers a variety of classes on bystander CPR and bleeding control. We focus on recognizing victims of cardiac arrest or life-threatening bleeds and doing high-quality interventions. You can find us teaching these techniques at study breaks, in dining halls, or around Harvard Square.
