CrimsonEMS is an internal reference tool for Harvard’s CrimsonEMS personnel.

The app provides access to shift guidelines, contact information, bag checklists, medication references, and related operational material.

2. Information We Collect

CrimsonEMS does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

  • The app does not use analytics, cookies, or tracking technologies.

  • The app does not require user registration or authentication.

  • The app does not request or access device contacts, photos, location, or files.

3. Local Device Storage

The app may store small amounts of data only on your device, such as checklist completion states or user interface preferences.

This information never leaves your device and can be cleared by deleting the app.

4. Third-Party Services

CrimsonEMS does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics frameworks.

The only external links are to:

  • The official Massachusetts Department of Public Health (mass.gov) for EMS protocols

  • The official CrimsonEMS website (crimsonems.org)

5. Security

Because the app does not collect or transmit data, no user information is stored on external servers.

The internal “Passwords” tab is locally protected by a passcode to prevent unauthorized viewing of internal reference material.

6. Children’s Privacy

CrimsonEMS is intended for use by trained EMS personnel and not for individuals under 17 years of age.
